Join us at the EU Industry Days in Málaga, Spain, on 4-6 October! The European Clusters Alliance holds a stakeholder session "Industry-led pragmatic approaches on skills for a competitive and climate-neutral EU" on 4 October at 17:30 CET.
The green and digital transition is forecast to bring millions of new jobs. Large and small businesses need skilled people to innovate and grow. Clusters can help companies identify needs and gaps and, together with education stakeholders, design tailor-made trainings. This session will unlock practical and scalable approaches, honed over years by the European industry, to address EU's skills needs and challenges. The panellists will expose strategies for enhancing competencies and driving sustainable growth, sharing practical tips and real-world examples. Our speakers are:

Antonio Novo, President European Clusters Alliance

Francisco Vico, Professor, University of Málaga
Torsten Urban, Head of Education, Training and Medical, Kunststoff-Institut Lüdenscheid
Moderated by: Kristina Šermukšnytė-Alešiūnienė, DIH Coordinator and Cluster Manager, AgriFood Lithuania

The session will take place in Room 1.
